3 SEGMENTS FROM WHEEL OF FORTUNE IN WORD FOR/WORD ISSUE 45

I'm delighted to have 3 segments from wheel of fortune out in the newest Word for/Word today. READ THEM HERE. As usual, the issue is stellar, read the whole thing. Sincere + heartfelt thanks to editor Jonathan Minton for including these in issue 45 and for continuing to curate + publish a very rad journal. Do I intentionally send large swathes of my favorite parts of each of my projects to Word for/Word? Yes. The first segment of the wheel presented here references and lifts language from this article. The first italicized line on p. 3 is from Catherine Wagner's Nervous Device. The second italicized line on p. 4 is from Eva Hesse's Diaries. The italicized line on p. 4 is from Vladimir Nabokov's dream journals. The second segment of the wheel lifts language from Alice Notley's Telling the Truth As It Comes Up in a very scattered + fragmented fashion. The third segment of the wheel is constructed from remnants of a failed film dada [ da ] piece I tried to write for Psycho Holosuite of the film The Red Shoes. The italicized line on p. 11 is Robert Creeley's.
